When Chronosphere is the right choice

Keep Chronosphere when you already want that exact job:

  • Kubernetes telemetry at scale — high-cardinality Prometheus metrics you cannot afford to keep raw.
  • A telemetry pipeline already bought — shape and drop data before it hits the observability bill.
  • A dedicated platform team — someone who will live in cardinality rules and control-plane SLO dashboards.
  • Microservices, not a sick VPS — you need series control more than disk, certs, and nginx.
